Quoted from Wickerman2:How’s the clear near posts look?
Good question, not on it but I'll check and report back.

Someone was told by a distributor I think that all this would be fine by the time the premiums came out...hoping that’s the case

There is no “all this”. Sterns only statement was that there weren't any widespread issues! So nothing to see here!

That's better than "as designed" in the list of Stern official statements to minimize legit problems - isn't it?
No "pooling" or chipping or what have you issues that I could see.
Plays really really great, obviously similar to the pros, but the bump in build quality feels apparent. Good stuff!

Quoted from wlf_:Raptor section feels much more substantial, and the trex does in fact eat the ball![quoted image][quoted image]

Quoted from Wildbill327:Where did the ball go when it was swallowed? Does it have a physical lock?
Yep, he gobbles it up, and holds it. Then shoots it out... this one was set to drop it on left ramp, but I believe it can also be set to shoot it around PF at random.
There was a "reject" or two where the trex held the ball momentarily and it backed out without registering, but wasn't often. And since this one is a proto I wouldn't expect any issues with 'em
