Just great.

Yeah, it's a game changer.
Could someone pass me the link for the pro version. I have updated my prem, but I thought I would help a buddy of mine.
Received, thanks!
Any way we could get a different opening clip for the bonus countdown montage? I hate that it repeats itself at the end of the countdown! It seems like a mistake.
Looks like it's just a crash fix for games with older hardware! For those on 1.11 looks like we are safe to stay on movie code 1.11v3.
V1.12.0 - September 26th, 2023
==============================
- Stability - Fixed an intermittent crash that occurred on older hardware for non-connected games.
- Pteronodon Attack - Added a minimum jackpot value of 3M.
- System - Updated to V3.48.0 on OS V2.7.0
- Updated to nodeboard firmwareprotocol v1.12.0
- Conagent v1.0.13
- Various behind the scenes improvements for correctness and performance.
still, most of the owners are early buyers ( no IC ) so we would love to see a new movie code release ... Thx PoMC

Following! I would love to get a copy of the 1.11, or happy to wait if 1.12 is coming soon. 30th LE.
Thanks!
I was expecting this update which is why I held off on making another version with some new changes I made to videos.
Quoted from PoMC:I was expecting this update which is why I held off on making another version with some new changes I made to videos.
And I held off asking for the last version expecting this new version...
What's your preferred, least pita way of handling requests for it? IM, reply here, or just upvoting your post when you say it is ready?
I have a probably dumb question: I have some tiny "Pause" labels on the bottom left of few videos. Is it possible to remove them or are them integrated to the screenshots?

I saw those as well but totally forgot about it because it is pretty discreet.

Those are part of the videos themselves.

Thank you for your reply PoMC.

Got it thanks.
Quoted from paynemic:So if I add ic to my old JP, will I not get the crashes on movie 1.11? Will there be an updated movie version of 1.12?
It wasn't the movie code that was causing crashes. It was the core code from Stern.
Their 1.10 release had a lot of crashes. Their 1.11 had some crashes on older games.
1.12 seems to be more stable.
Quoted from paynemic:So if I add ic to my old JP, will I not get the crashes on movie 1.11? Will there be an updated movie version of 1.12?
The crashes experienced recently were a function of issues with the code itself from Stern, not due to anything that was changed in the AV updates. In V1.12 they seem to have squashed the fatal bugs previously experienced in some combinations of hardware. V1.12 seems very stable. That said the movie code edits done by modders and enabled by pinball browser do not make these bugs better or worse. Pinball browser essentially changes the DATA portion that the software reads and plays, not the logic or operating system itself. So if a movie code image was based on Stern's V1.11 and the original uneditted v1.11 gamecode works on your machine, then the movie code verion of 1.11 will also work on your machine. It's non-trivial to re-apply edits to a newer game code, so I suspect PoMC will take some time to do so with 1.12 That said, you'll end up with minor dilemma:
1) stay with PoMC's amazing movie code version of 1.11 and hope you don't see any of Stern's bugs while you play, which many owners never saw in the first place
2) update to Stern's factory v1.12 and enjoy a factrory fresh and more stable version, but unmodded AV version of the game
-or-
3) you could wait until PoMC transfers his 1.11 edits to apply them to the 1.12 Stern base (which could take a minute or so to do...) and get the best of everything... later in the year perhaps?

Thanks! I think that’s all what I was expecting. I haven’t gotten my game back yet so I don’t have to choose. But next Thursday!
Quoted from zr11990:Is it better than the original
The movie is one of the best ever made so I would say the movie code makes it better.
I had the 1.05 movie code but forgot to export my high scores before plugging in a new card with the 1.11 base code version. When 1.11 ran it mentioned updating node boards. Is it safe for me to swap back to the 1.05 card to get my hi scores and then revert back?
I was running 1.03 Movie code on my LE. Thought I'd try 1.12 30th, so flashed it onto a new SD card. I decided I preferred to have the movie code and sounds so put the 1.03 card back in. It now will not run as it says can't find nodes 1,8 & 9.
Anyone know if I can overcome this?
Thanks

Did you try the 1.11 movie code?

i know from someone else who had problems going back to 1.03
eventually he was able to go back, but did so much that he does not know what it was exactly.
But i think 1.11 should work. It may be some security setting to prevent to backversion to crash node boards that are not compatible with older firmware.

1.12 is now modfiable via pinball browser, so i guess soon there will be 1.12 video mod releases too.
I am working on a lead zeppelin custom code update right now. Need to get it complete before I list the game for sale and in the meantime I’m getting ready because I am a vendor with a friend at next weekend’s York, Pennsylvania Pinball show.
So probably maybe middle of next week is earliest I’ll get to start working on this 1.12 code.

See you in York.
Hey guys! I didn't know this was being worked on again so I'm way out of date back when I'd talk to timlah79.
We will see what time holds, but I may be of assistance and noodle with the code myself.
If someone could lead me in the direction of the up to date -Premium.
-------A huge thanks to everyone who has made this possible. Over the years it's been an excellent source of storytelling to those who go into my game room. *tips hat------

I have the original movie code. I’m asking if this new movie code is better
Quoted from zr11990:I have the original movie code. I’m asking if this new movie code is better
It is pretty much the same thing as far as I can tell, just with the updated code and the features that come with that.
Quoted from zr11990:I have the original movie code. I’m asking if this new movie code is better
The two versions are very different as they were created 'from scratch'. The original author of the 1.03-1.05 version ended his developement, and the new authors started basically from scratch. I would say the two are very different since the authors had very different vision and goal. As a general rule the new version keeps most of the game direction callouts intact, whereas the older version commandiered the callouts and provided other audio clips.
best to try the new one and see if you like it. Its does come with all of the 1.11 features, so you are 'up to date' with the new version.
Quoted from DystopicPinball:1.12 movie code will allow insider connected functions to play online?
Yes
