Ok, I have a JP. About 3 months ago I did a flipper rebuild, the machine has worked great. About a week ago my left flipper seems to “lose power”. It flips about 6 Times perfect then 3 or 4 it moves really slow then perfect. It goes back and forth randomly like that. I checked the fuses, replaced the coil twice but it continues. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check the cabinet switch? I thought my board was acting up again then I looked at the flow chart. (http://techniek.flipperwinkel.nl/desega/index2.htm#flip0) I cleaned the switch, reflowed the solder, and adjusted it tighter. Now it works consistently.

On de flipper assembly’s there is a red plastic tip that activates the switch . If that is right or missing it causing weak power because it’s not engaging the switch right . Make sure the switch is opening and closing properly

I had thought I cleaned and checked all those switches before but I just went thru them again and it seems to have worked! I have finally played a game on it with no issues. I’m going to put 10 or 12 games on it quick but so far so good!
Thanks guys!

Sweet !!! I’ve Shopped and fixed so many data easy that it almost always comes down to switch adjustments to get rid of the weak flipper.
