Hello,

I have some problems with my T-Rex head center switch. When the head turns left the switch activates when the head is corretly centered, but when it turns right the switch activates too soon. So it is not correctly centered when the Rex eats the ball.

Is there any way to adjust the center switch? I don't see how.

edit: I've been watching some youtube videos and it seems this happens in many JP pinballs.

Quoted from Pinballocks:

Have you run the switch test in the Diagnostics? You may have to remove the head & re-center it.

Yes I run the tests and switches are OK. It just seems that the center switch is not exactly in the center. I dont see any way to re-center it.

Quoted from winteriscoming:

Not sure on adjusting, but there's a bit of a range in the center where that switch is activated. It tends to be a factor of which side it approaches from. Your pic doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Yes, watching videos of other JPs they seem to do the same thing. I'm maybe too perfectionist.

Important thing is that T-Rex is working and eating balls.

Quoted from Pinballocks:

You have pull the head out of the gearbox & re-center it. That's what I had to do & it works fine now. Hope you have time & patients.

Ok, thanks. I will try something easyer before . I just ordered a couple of microswitches (don't want to break mine without having a replacement). I think I can enlarge the holes without breaking the microswitch so I can move it a bit to the right or maybe modify the lever.
Will see what I can do when I receive them.

Quoted from scottholdren:

Hi - I just got Jurassic Park, and noticed two strange differences with my playfield. The art is missing where T-rex picks up the ball, and the Smart Missile light says "1 Missle" instead. I haven't found any mention of these anomalies, so I thought I'd post some pictures and see if anyone has seen this.
Scott

My pinball has the same 2 anomalies. Missing sticker in the T-Rex area and "1 missle per game" insert.

I was missing a couple of decals (one missing and one damaged) and just printed a replacement.

Thanks Rondogg for the scans!

Quoted from GRB1959:

What did you print the decals on (paper or vinyl)? Did you put mylar over the decal?
Gord

I used glossy photo paper, then an adhesive transparent film (Cover Film for Books) to protect it and double side tape to attach it to the playfield.

As I previously did with the START button I had to create a customized one for the SMART Missile. Not to replace the original buttons because I don't have them, but to replace the horrible green buttons the previous owner used to replace the original ones.

Quoted from C65Mustang:

ch of the above mentioned bulbs to be changed to LED? and again will I need to prep for any extra modifications to complete the led upgrade? Or will the LED replacement be a drop in replacement for all playfield bulbs?

Some time ago I ordered a few led bulbs just to see how they look compared to the original ones and there is no modification needed, just plug and play.

I will order a full set some day.

Quoted from tjprice222:

My JP is having an issue. The coil that kicks balls into the shooter lane seems to work fine for several games and then ends up getting stuck. The problem is especially evident during multiball. I'm having trouble tracking down the issue and I thought it might be the vertical switch on the right of the ball trough but I've replaced it twice and I'm still having the problem. Anyone else have any recommendations to try? I have a video demonstrating the issue:
» YouTube video

I had the same problem. I solved it replacing the coil.

I'd like to try my own blade design (just try, not sure if I will be able to do something interesting). Does anybody have some kind of blank template with correct measures/shape?

I would totally be all over this but I just ordered 12 trees from China for $5.99!

Do you have a link for those china trees?
