Quoted from Spencer:

So, the choice.... Buy inferior colored plastic set and sell off some of my originals. Or wait and hope to score a few originals once people start replacing them...

Nice to have a choice. When i went through mine the choice was repair as best you could or buy the one NOS set that was showing up on Pinball classifieds for$400US i think it was.

Quoted from Spencer:

Good point, I ordered a set. I'll sell some originals and maybe the new orange sling-shot set too.

I'd have to double check but pretty sure this is the one i need (for sure its one or the other under the light stack) if yours happens to be in good shape could look at buying just that or the whole set.

I've had that issue on other games, sometimes you just need to adjust/clean the switches but also sometimes the foam pads behind the target are too hard. Not sure if this is due to age or maybe being switched out with too hard a foam along the way but if that is what it looks like just replace the foam.

Quoted from Chalkey:

Picking up a JP next week which will be my first pin. Any tips on things to look for? It's already got the cliffy inserts installed. The "dock" ejector isn't working and I'm hoping that should be a fairly easy fix.

Personally, i might pop the cliffy's (be very careful or they'll bend) and see how much hole damage there is. Mine i filled with wood epoxy, filed and sanded because i figured the cliffys would dent if i didn't. Other than that t-rex can be problematic in terms of wiring at the point where the head pivots forward. Also the Jaw link can wear out.

The rest is normal pin stuff, like your eject saucer or trough switches. No big deal probably. Someone in the past did some fixes on one of my boards, not sure what that was about. Works perfectly.

If that pic collection does not have what you need i can get you a link to mine. Though that would be late tonight likely.

Quoted from Sciddleybop1980:

Last night whilst playing my sounds and music went haywire. It Kept playing one of the mode musics continously, even after the game finished. It just wouldn't shut up. It also kept making random sound effects like the bleet of the goat and "CHAOS" turned it off and back on again. No change. So turned it off, reseated some cables and pushed home some chips. Now seems ok!!! Random. Anyone experienced similar?

Yup. On Sunday. Re-seated power cable to sound board, all good.
