Quoted from Jimmyapple:Anyone know if there is any issues w switching out standard 555 bulbs for the 455 in the back box? Just did an led swap and some of the 455s were out.
Just changed them on mine. Comet has them, led.
Quoted from harryhoudini:Make sure the upper plate is screwed down all the way and that the game is level.
I was just emailing Cliffy. He now has a newly made hole protector for T-Rex. FYI
Quoted from harryhoudini:Pics? I don't see it on his site. Is this just for the lower wood area around the eject hole? Wondering how it would affect the ball getting stuck in the upper platform.
He will send pics, just ask. They sure cleanup a hole area.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:Finally fixed my eject shield for good. I ended up using the 25mm sphere grinding bit to grind down the lip so that there was no flatness to it at all - only a slight slant inward towards the hole. Sanded it (unfortunately, only had 400 grit), buffed out with Novus, and then waxed. I can't even get the ball to sit on the lip when I try to purposely place it there by hand now
Can't really see the scratches from player's view (too small and far away), but I'll fix that when I get some higher grit sandpaper. My teenager is having 4 others come over this weekend, and I really didn't want them banging the heck out of the pin if/when the ball got stuck.[quoted image]
Cliffys now makes a protector for that scoop. Sure is nice, great fit.
Quoted from Chitownpinball:Not sure. DESW didnt lose any value when the new SW came out.
Good information, thanks.
