Anyone in the Newark, DE area have a game they'd be willing to allow Malenko access to with his pin2DMD so he can capture the video output and get started redoing the art files? He's done spectacular work with SFII, just imagine what he could do with JP!

Quoted from comment23:

I think all DE games are only coded for the LED version.

I've read in the main ColorDMD thread that this is the case - something about mounting issues on the DE machines makes LED the only option.

Quoted from delt31:

Guys looking to do some touch up on the cab. Pretty minor but at the same time easy. Knowing not all black is the same, does anyone know what paint to get? Black is top priority but if you know the red yellow and white, please post. Not aware of any dedicated pinball places that sell paint that matches.....

Did you ever figure this out?

There's a good thread discussing JP black:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/recommendations-for-jurssic-park-black-cabinet-paint-match

But couldn't find anything on Pinside about the red or yellow JP cab paint.

Quoted from Davi:

They have the artwork.
"We’d typically like to see 40-50 people unofficially onboard, for any title here, to graduate to a Standard Pre-Order."

Maybe they can touch up Nedry's fingers and a few of the other blatant artistic failings while they're at it!

For those interested in the awesome winteriscoming T-Rex, new supply may finally be coming, so keep an eye on that thread (at least in the past it's been first-come, first-served when he does have them for sale):

Has anyone found good LED replacements to upgrade the look of the “shoot the T-Rex when lit” lamp and the T-R-E-X indicator lamps on the apron? I’m thinking in these modern times there must be an upgrade to the old “bulb condom” look.

Has anyone tried Herg's GIzmo GI LED smoothing board in a Jurassic Park?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/led-gi-smoothing-for-stern-wip

It was designed for Stern games but Herg says in one of the posts that he thinks it would work with DE games as well without modification. I read the EnerGI Maestro reviews above and it also sounds great, the GIzmo has less customization options but is also significantly cheaper, so I'm tempted to give it a try but thought I would check if anyone else has had success with it.

And another question ... Does anyone have a part number for the topper reflection bar? Couldn't find it in the manual or with a quick search at Marco.

Quoted from GRB1959:

The topper itself does not light up, however, there are flashers on top of the cabinet with a stainless steel reflection bar that directs the flasher lights towards the topper so that during gameplay the flashers do indeed flash onto the topper.

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

Is this similar to the GI Maestro which is known to work and fully tested on DE games?
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/jurassic-park-club/page/116#post-4953748

They are designed for the same basic purpose, but GIzmo is a simpler product with more limited customization of fade times, etc., and is less than half the price of EnerGI Maestro (plus GIzmo is currently in stock). It sounds like the EnerGI Maestro works perfectly, but I'd be happy with less functionality at a cheaper price, and always like to do business with Herg based on the quality and support he provides for his LED OCD boards. Just thought I'd ask if anyone has tried a GIzmo with JP before I take the plunge.

Do you want measurements so you can make your own?

That would be great, thanks!
