I PM’d the OP, but no response. Can everyone bombard him?
Not sure this club needs to be renamed. All the members can find it easily just looking at their 'topics in which you posted' as your Pinside start page. That's where I start when opening Pinside.
Sterns JP should be noted as JP2 in the forums since it is a big tribute to our JP:

I don't think that's the issue. The issue is that this will soon be a Stern JP discussion as new owners get their their machine, they're just going to see Jurassic Park Club, and come here to talk about how much money they just blew and the dimples, and the ghosting, and the whatever else they find annoying about their brand new machine that they just spent a lot of money on.
At least that's what I worry about.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:I PM’d the OP, but no response. Can everyone bombard him?
Just sent a message. Also included the thread link so that he doesn't have to go hunting for it.
I suggested "(1993) DE Jurassic Park Club" and "Jurassic Park Club (DE, 1993)"
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:Funny, my suggestions were: "DE Jurassic Park Club" or "DE Jurassic Park (1993) Club"
Just received some JP decals/goodies from Mr_Tantrum
They are great. Super fast shipping too. Thank you!!
I highly recommend checking his stuff out for your own machine.

Thanks, Dad! Anyone interested can PM me and I'll provide the link to see my JP Stuff. I also have of ton of things for Getaway, I do keychains for any pin, have all kinds of custom apron cards, and will do ad-hoc design work.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in JP themed decals for their PinGulp. Idea would probably be the JP logo. I just started producing these for Getaway upon an owner's request. For $10 (includes US shipping), I would send two decals (1 for each side of PinGulp) that are photo quality printed and vinyl laminated. If anyone has interest, please post here in the thread and I'll take the time to design some.
In case you want a visual, here they are on Getaway: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/getaway-club-dispatch-run-a-make-on-license-plate-kingpin/page/195#post-5150705
The control room on my JP doesn’t always register. So I went ahead and purchased a new switch thinking that would solve the issue. Installed it today and still having the same issue. I noticed that if the ball goes slowly into the control room, there is no issues. It seems to be only be happening on certain shots ( maybe going in too fast and not registering the ball)? anyone else have or had this issue, and any ideas how to solve it?

Did you adjust the wire roll over, I was having the same issue, the wire needed to be sent up slightly.
I did try that , I’ll give it another go and see if that fixes the issue, thanks

On mine, I have a deadining pad at the bottom so that the ball doesnt jump over the switch in the middle. It stops the bounce.
Can you show me a picture or point me to where you got the deadlining pad? Thanks

Mine already had it installed when i got it. It's about 1/8in thick rubber pad about 1 1/2 inches square. Its like that black rubber that doesnt allow for much bounce.
Never thought about the practical use of it until others were saying the switch kept getting missed. It was determined that the ball was just jumping over that switch.
You could probably even go to Lowes and get some of that rubberized foam seal, and over time it would compress and probably act similar.
Sure you could probably even mount one of those blue rubber pads that machines use. Cant think of a game off hand right now that uses them though.
My JP likes to cook everything related to the raptor pit on occasion. I turned on a few of my games and started smelling something. I assumed it was a different game until I took the glass off of JP and felt the plastic above the raptor pit being hot. Then saw that r16 had blown...
Q4 is pretty new, but may need to be replaced again, and perhaps the coil and or diode on the raptor pit.
Ugh... just wanted to play some pinball with my family.

I'd hate to have that feeling again. I spent a month trying to diagnose my problem with my VUK when I got my JP. In the end I followed the path of the VUK in the schematics and replaced every single component on both that PPB board and the CPU board. I felt super satisfied when I powered it up and didn't blow a fuse. But I was pulling out my hair. Learned a lot about schematics though.

Speaker hum question- I had a dead power board and got a rottendog. Works perfect now except has the dreaded loud speaker hum. Original speakers. Will upgrading speakers fix this? Ideas? It’s so loud on attract mode.

Your power supply can be repaired. I will send it to have it rebuilt. Rotten dog boards have had issues supplying the correct voltages.

Thanks. I was going to have repaired eventually as I’m not able to do it but was wondering if there’s anything that could help now so I’m not just eating the 100$. Seems like I Should have done my homework first on this one.

Try loosening the screws on the audio board, thus floating the ground. It helped me alot.

I've actually thought of this, but I don't really think an FDM 3D printer will generate an acceptable model (not capable of many of the minute details pictured in the rendering), and for me the size would need to be much smaller to fit the game. I think the rendering is gorgeous (flashinstinct obviously has some design skills), but the end product will only be representative of that image. Still curious to see what he can come up with as this is a logical addition to both the classic and new JP's. Also, Mezel does a lot of great mods, but their version is just wrong (the movie one opens from the bottom - not the top). However, it is more representative of what a FDM 3D printer is capable of producing.

Plan is SLS process.

Looking good, and that pin to the left is "imamaculate"!
Quoted from Davi:Plan is SLS process.
Guess I saw the printer in his posts and assumed that would be the source of final production. SLS would definitely be an improvement.

yup. Thats the stuff. I don't think I have the blue pad in mine, but I would assume it's about the same. I don't think those allow for much bounce. I could be wrong. But I'm 99% sure the problem is that it's just jumping over that switch, which is why slow shots work, and fast ones don't register.
Also, if you're going to place an order, try this one too. This looks closer to what is in my machine. https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/0500-9852

I wonder if you used a piece of foam mouse pad if it would work. That's what the pic from Marcos looks like

Does your TREX have diff teeth? If so, where/how? haha
I personally don't mind the TREX in this game as is but new teeth wouldn't be bad!
As for side blades - I was thinking of getting the same ones. Not 100% sure. Looking at this one too:

I made them myself
I used a white firm plastic food container, i think i got it st the chinese restaurant with noodles i cut out the teeth with some extra length to clamp between the mouth and the inside were the ball is grabbed.
The first time i made the teeth to big and that interfered with the ball so i made them a little smaller.
Just clamped them in, no glue or anything.
There in there for more than a year, never had any problems.

That’s great! I wish there were more free designs. Being on the other side of the planet from most pinsiders is a real issue when shipping can be more than the item itself :/
How big was your printer?

I printed something exactly like that. Worked great, you will like it.
