Sorting out a Jurassic Park that has been sitting for sometime. I am having difficulty getting the back glass lights to work. I'm incredibly new to pinball troubleshooting and repair. Have been reading heavily at Homepinballrepair and here.
I found a burnt connector between back box and light panel that only had the orange wire still attached. Remaining wires had been soldered off the connector already. Removing that connector and direct wiring the remaining orange wire got the flashers in the back glass working.
Followed the remaining lighting wires back to the power board and found that connector crumbling. Replaced that connector.
Verified all power supply fuses, and every other fuse in the back box, all good with DMM out of the holder.
I still don't get any light in the back glass except the flashers. No current to be found on any of the lamp bases.
I need to check output on the power supply to the lights. Can i unplug that connector and test directly on the pins of the power supply?
Is there anything else I should be looking at?
Thanks,
Nate
