Hope to rejoin this year. One of my first games and I have missed its campy humor ever since.

Quoted from CraZ4Pin:

1:25 scale is what is needed? Just looked online and it appears the 1:25 scale van is only 4.3 inches long? Seems pretty small compared to the blue van that comes standard, no? Anyone have a picture of this Samba van installed?

The hippie van above is 1:25 scale. I had the old friends installed in my jy and the size was perfect.

Working on a maisto samba bus. It was one of the orange ones, first I removed the windows. I used carburetor cleaner to remove the orange paint and soften the white powder coated paint. I then used a Sheetrock sponge to sand it and create rusted areas. I used some testers model paint mixed with a little paint thinner to paint the bottom section blue. Once it dried I used the sponge/sandpaper to crest some lighter sections again. I then used some flat rust color model paint again mixed with paint thinner to lightly wash and create a rusted look. Wiping some of the excess around to "dirty" up the white. I also used some matte clear coat paint to fog up the glass and then used some double sided tape to put it back in place. I plan to use some LEDs from Mezel mods to create make the bus glow when the flasher goes off. I am also going to try to do some headlights and a break light. I will post pictures once it's in the game.

(I also removed the seats and glued the front wheels down)

Here is the bus installed. The headlights and interior go off with the gi lights. The interior is a slow color changer, and head lights are ones I found on eBay. I also wired a red led on the back of the bus so when the lock on the bus ramp goes on the brake lights turn on while the go goes out.

Painted up a new van for my junk yard. It was really fun painting the rust effect, I also lit the headlights and color changer inside mounted to the rag top, similar to the one in my last junk yard.
