Came across a problem with my Junk Yard, and before I order a part, I thought I'd see if anyone had a suggestion on a repair...
Last night when I fired up a game, I noticed that the auto-fire kicker crank assembly was kind of weakly machine-gunning, and appeared to be touching the shooter spring and sparking. When I shut the machine off, and popped it open, I found the "bushing" on the left side of the crank has broken away from the crank assembly, letting the assembly lay pretty sloppily on its shaft. I think this is causing it to sag and touch the shooter spring, which is shorting something out... So anyhow, my question is this - has anyone seen something like this, and before I drop $20 on a new crank, would JB Weld or a welder be able to tack that back on? Not that spending $20 is a huge problem, but every penny I can save on the machine for the time being makes the wife a little happier, as we have a lot of big expenses this next month or so, so I just need to keep things up and running and worry about a replacement down the road if possible.
