Hi,

I bought a Junk Yard pinball, and it has a Clear transparent insert under the Wrecking Ball with 2 MIL on it.
I saw that the standard game doesn't have this insert.
Can someone tell me if they have the same insert and or this version is a prototype or something?

Thnx.

Is it insert or decal? This is a usual place for wear when the crane ball hits the playfield. I suspect someone has done an inventive repair.

What ROM version is it running?
Any informative labels on the ROMs?

It says at the display: REV: 1.0

On The rom's there are no stickers just grey tape.

The IPDB page says early versions had a magnet to stop the crane, does yours have a magnet?

I would guess that is what they did with the already drilled, (for magnet) playfields...very rare I would think, but nice if it really awarded the 2Mil for something..

It looks like there's a playfield protector over the playfield.
On top of that, the insert's art doesn't even match the starburst.

IMHO, someone replaced the insert with something they had around, or used the wrong decal on a touch-up. :/

I think also, because from the underside there are screw holes wich arn't used now, so there could be a magnet before.

Greetz..
