You don't need to remove the board everything is mounted on. Just hinge down and replace the bulbs. You can use an old shooter rod rubber tip to pull the old bulbs out if you can't grab them with your fingers.

Be careful tilting the board back. Watch clearance to make sure the disk on the player unit does not hit the cabinet when the board is tilted back.

And it's a good idea to manually actuate the player unit in the backbox. You want it positioned horizontally, so that it doesn't get damaged when you lean the panel backward. My first Gottlieb confused me because my other EMs had the backglass lift out from the front.

Don't " pull them out". You have to push down on the bulb and turn to the left to remove. Just the opposite to install.

I was hoping he knew how to remove bayonet #44/47 lamps, but probably should have worded it differently.

We should also mention to find someone with skinny fingers. Some of those drilled holes in the board tear up my fat fingers!

I use a piece of plastic tubing for those hard ones. Shooter tip works good too.
