Just picked this up. Records work great...CDs skip but it'll be fun to dig into.

Quoted from scootss:

I hear those CD drives go bad after a while. There's a guy or two that repair them...or you can replace with an old/refurbished one.

I removed the cartridge, reinserted the CDs and did a service reset of the player. Seems to be working fine now. It may have been sitting unused for a while, so it may just need to be worked a little. Fingers crossed.

Quoted from scootss:

Excellent. enjoy! Can you share a pic of the two mechs (CD/45)? These combo units have always interested me

The record part is a standard Rowe mechanism they used through the entire 80s. The CD player is at the bottom (not shown). It's a standard Sony 10 CD player. The jukebox has to go through and index each CD and song after you program the jukebox to do so. It takes 10 minutes to complete then you just select the CD (2 numbers) and song (2 numbers). Pretty simple.

Finished up my Rowe R93. Cleaned up, newly printed title strips and full of records and CDs. I built a custom over-cabinet to hold surplus 45s and display unique dust covers. I 3D printed additional title strip holders for selections 8 & 9 for each column. Added those to the over-cabinet and backlit the whole thing. When you turn the jukebox on, the over-cabinet lights up. Even threw some neon on top.
