Question - my W1900 started to sound "warbly" (can't think of a better word) all of a sudden. At first I thought the drive belt might be loose. Before I could check that, I made a selection, and the turntable shaft didn't start turning. I reached in and gave the record a manual spin, and it started up - albeit a little warbly (that word again). Any ideas what I may be facing?
Quoted from MrBally:Seized motor bearings. Zoom Spout Oiler is your friend.
Thanks @mrbally! Where do I apply said oil? I know that some Seeburgs had tubes into which the oil goes. I don't see anything similar on my Wurly 1900.
W1990 solved! All I had was a loose hex screw on the pulley. I noticed the the motor was running well, and the axel to the pulley was turning as well. So, I tightened the hex screw, and bam! No warbly (that word again) sound. Thanks for all the suggestions!
Quick technical question. All of a sudden my Wurlitzer 1900 will play at a specific volume (and louder), but volume will not get softer beyond that point. Any suggestions?
Several free sites for strip creation on the inter webs. Here’s some I used in the past:

That’s the one I use. I change colors for Christmas tunes.
Quoted from indypinhead:I picked up a Rowe jukebox yesterday to go along with my Wurlitzer OMT's and Rock-Ola.
First it was toilet paper, now it's jukeboxes.
Quoted from ToucanF16:How do you like that cleaner?
It does a pretty good job. After cleaning the yellow plastic makes makes it easy seeing all the debris that was cleaned off and is either sunk at the bottom of the device, or floating around in the water.
Quoted from jdouble:How long have you owned your W1900 for?
Bought it in Evansville, Indiana in 1989 for $250.
Bill Bickers did a recap and ceramic pickup mod for me back around ‘97.
Fixed my W1900 volume issue with DeOxit on the volume potentiometer and on the circuit board pot. All is well!

I'm partial to the Wurlitzer era that included the 1700 to 2200 models. These played 45s, and showed the full selection of records in the window. I personally have a 1900 model (circa 1956 - see below). To me, anything that shows as much of the mechanism as possible are more intriguing. The W models from 2300 to 3000 still showed the record playing, but hid the mechanism beneath the title holders.
I'm sure somebody can chime in on Seeburgs, etc. Good luck.

Speaking of ELO - One of my favorite ELO songs is "Wild West Hero." I had always wanted in on my W1900, but could only find it on a UK single (with the small hole). I bought one off eBay, and using a regular drill based hole saw, managed to cut a proper 1.5" diameter hole in the record. I did practice on two throw-away records first, and managed to crack one of them. So I was lucky.
I have seen some record "dinkers" for sale, and was wondering if any of you have had success with these devices - or if there are other methods of making the proper sized hole?

New to my eyes! Now I've got to Google it and see it in operation.

Nice! I have no skills.
My Wurlitzer 1900 just stopped making selections. I selected a few records and received that satisfying solenoid sound, but on the fourth or fifth selection, nothing. After those selections played, I tried various combinations of Letters and Numbers. It's as if the signal isn't making it to the selector coils, and those solenoids aren't firing. Any idea where I can start troubleshooting?
Hello friends. Recently my W1900 started to have a rattle or crunching sound only when the record carrier is turning, or when the record is lifting into position. Once in position the rattle/crunch stops and the record plays as usual until the record is lowered and the carrier starts to turn again. I'm not sure if a motor is failing, or if a gear is getting fouled up. Any insight would be appreciated.
I have a Wurlitzer 1900 that was basically put on "Free Play" some time ago. I have had no issues with that for many years until today. The selection light does not come on, and selections can't be made. I have no clue where to begin the troubleshooting. Any help would be appreciated.

Ditto!
