Now that pinball machines are almost out of reach for my wallet, I have been focusing my fixing itch to Jukes. I have currently 2. Both were non working and practicaly free. The Rowe now works flawlessly and the Rockola is 100 percent but still a work in progress.
20220613_194526 (resized).jpg20220910_205452 (resized).jpgMy Rowe jukebox has a PA system bypass that allows you to use the speakers of the juke even when the machine is off. I guess this was for use in places where orders or announcements could be done through the system.
One day I came home to the juke buzzing disturbingly loud, as the original filter caps had given up. It might have been buzzing all day for all I know and the juke wasnt even turned on. Now I use a smart plug to turn the jukebox on so no power goes to the unit until I want it to. And it is pretty cool when I say, "Alexa, turn on the 80's jukebox" and it turns on.
