Hi guys,
got my first jukebox today ! A 477 Max Rock Ola.
Managed to have it start and play back, but now facing several issues (see video):
- arm not moving alone to center at the end of a song
- disc not being gripped and put back in place
- arm not starting the disc at the correct place

Any help / hint where to look is greatly appreciated, I am literally learning and discovering the stuff

Quoted from merccat:

I am not familiar with that model but if I were looking at it the symptoms would have me looking at the tone arm mounting and any adjustments available there. If things were offset I could see it starting somewhere in the middle then never reaching the end of record switch.
If you press the cancel button does it return ok?

You were right Issues 1 & 3 solved with arm adjustment ! ( a nut and a bolt were missing; was ok after adding new ones and adjusting).

Last issue remaining: arm not grabing the record at the end. Looks like the part close to the center is being pushed a bit too late; when the semi circular part is already away from the record.

The old Rock-Ola Gripper Motor & related adjustments. It's 1980 all over again..

Do you have a link on how to adjust it by any chance?

Actually issue has been solved by raising the plate of 5 mm

Hi guys, have noticed that my Rock Ola 477 max is spinning a bit slower than it should.
Any idea what to do?

Is this something new - or has it always done this since you have owned it?

Have always been there since I got it (2 weeks ago)

On my Wurlizer Americana, the sound is quite bad.
Was told that this amp (556) needs modifications to sound good.
Anyone would know what they are or point me to a document explaining what to do?

Hi guys,

I have a rock ola 477 max which was working fine till now.
It's now doing a loud "hum" sound as soon as it is switched on.
Wether the relay is on or off does not affect it.

Any idea of what I should check?

Hi guys,

Just got a Seeburg USC-1 which has one issue; haven't tested all selections but I found something weird which can probably be easily solved:
When selecting 137, it picks up 130, everytime.
When selecting 130, it does pick up 130.

Every other selection I tested so far (not all) seem ok.

Additional question:
What refs are the small bulbs that light the keys? They are quite specific.

Ok, that issue is solved. Onto the next one

all 1** selections are ok, but any selection from the other face (2**) is not working.

Any idea?
