Rockolas tend to seize up due to the old grease basically turning to glue. I’ve had luck using a heat gun to warm up the mech and working some 3n1 oil in to free it up. But you definitely need to break it free with heat first and then take it completely apart, clean the old grease off, re lubricate and it should move effortlessly.

Cool glad it worked! I just suggest cleaning everything that you possibly can if it is real dirty (like mine was) and make sure all the necessary parts are lubricated well (helps if you have a manual). Also you can check the belts/rubber parts and make sure they aren’t dry rotted/broke. Always check all the fuses and make sure they are correct too. They are very different from pinball machines but once you understand that mech they are pretty simple to adjust.
