I'm a beginner so not sure if replacing relays is difficult...found this on CL...your advice?

I should also say that I'm looking for an EM that I can repair - but not complicated repair.

Relays are easy to replace but rarely the actual issue.

If you can read a schematic you're golden.

Were happy to help here also.

Offer 150 and see where it goes

    thanks
    will do

Not much info about this machine; does it look like one that has interesting features, or should I wait for a more interesting one to come along? The price is certainly right for something I get to learn how to repair!

    I wouldn't personally pay $200 for it. Maybe $50 to $100.

OK thanks for the info! Perhaps I'll wait till something more interesting comes along; or else offer him much less.

Don't go purely on my opinion. I haven't seen pics of it, and I'm a cheap bastard.

OK well the guy sold it to someone else anyway. I guess I have to work faster next time!
