Left fire button doesn't launch the ball at beginning of game. Rather, it changes the mode selected. Does it change the mode selected when waiting to launch the right ball?
Also, during gameplay the left and right fire buttons will cycle the mode to the left or the right. Is it working then?
Finally, as you stated, the left fire button should launch the ball from the left during air raid
