After receiving samples of 7 or 8 colors, I decided to go with the light blue. I really liked the dark red and the green, but they were so dark that you couldn't see much through them. I went with two of the Cointaker blue pop-bumper 4+1's led's in the planet and one of their red 13 led flashers. I also dropped the subway circuit board with the lights on it down about 1.5" and used the Cointaker flex supers to create nice even lighting under the planet.

Another plus with the light blue ring is that I can change the color of the planet to other colors and it seems to match just about anything. The planet in purple looked really good as well.

There are only 3 lights inside the planet. Two are general illumination and I have the blue 4+1 led's there. The one in the center is the flasher and that is where I have the red 13 led flasher. When it lights, it turns the entire planet red.

The supers I installed are under the trough where the crader graphics are. I used longer bolts to space the circuit board farther from the trough to eliminate the uneven lighting that comes from the factory. I had to take a small notch out of the circuit board to clear one of the planet motor supports. I left some of the GI sockets empty, so I ended up with 10 warm white supers and 2 of the 13 led flashers.
