Judge Dredd Bally, 1993

I have been having an issue with the planet in my judge dredd (it has the dead world mod installed). I am selling it in marketplace and want to get it working 100% right before selling it. At one particular point in every few rotations, it stops. First, I thought it was an issue of adjusting the screws on the orange ring (which it still might be), but I now think it might be underneath the playfield, where the circular metal piece is slightly rubbing against the u-shaped rubber guide, possibly causing it to stop. I have attached a picture to point to the specific area that it might be. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I'm not seeing the picture you said you've attached so I'm not 100% sure what the U shaped rubber guide is that you're referring to, but I would take a new 9 volt battery and attach a wire to each side if the battery, then connect each wire to each side of the leads on the planet motor and see if it continuously rotates without any issues. If it does, then I would make sure the opto's are clean for the planet interrupter and make sure nothing is wrong with the planet interrupter. And lastly, it could be a corruption with the deadworld mod rom.
