Ok so I am trying to figure out which LED will work the best for the inserts that have the #555 emitting light from the side to illuminate the insert.

I am planning to use Comet LED's if possible.

Also when dealing with colored inserts, is it better to use the same color LED or go with a natural white LED?

BTW this is the first game I have ever tried to LED. I don't want to spend a stupid amount for a kit so I am trying to build my own.

If you do not have any LED's yet you probably want the sample kit from Comet to try. (the $25 one)

I like matching colored inserts with colored LED mostly except for yellow. It really makes faded or older games look more modern.
