Artwork is stunning. Bravo.

Quoted from Baiter:The assumption that thousands of games can sell for 5 figures is the core fallacy of the Pintasia proposal...
Nailed it. As a potential "new money" buyer, there is simply zero chance of me dropping $16K on a pinball machine - its just way too much money. Furthermore, there is zero chance of me spending $10K (lets just say thats where it ends up) on "classic/pro/premium/whatever". If I'm spending $10K on any pinball machine, I'd expect to receive the very best version of that game available. Given the apparent necessity to ensure the $16K game is "better" than the $10K game, my expectations cannot possibly be met. I can't be the only "new money" source that sees it like this.
Quoted from frolic:$10k Magic Girls I think will sell, if it is everything its supposed to be.
I don't know about that. Up until now, $10K would get you the very best model of just about any game produced. Buyers spending that kind of cash would be accustomed to a top-of-the-line game. I don't see LE-type buyers spending $10K to get a "classic" version, no matter how great the game is.
I really want to see you guys made whole, but if it depends on new money jumping in at the prices mentioned so far, I'm very skeptical that market exists. Hopefully as more puzzle pieces are revealed, we'll see why the proposed pricing model makes sense - or perhaps doesn't.
Setting cost and ability to actually build this aside for a moment... Wow. What an impressive looking machine. The artwork is killer and I personally think the lighting is very cool. LEDs always look blown out in pictures so I'm guessing it looks even better in person. I love the long ramps and returns. Congratulations to the team that scrambled to pick up the pieces and get it to a show. Nice work guys.
Quoted from shakethatmachine:It's not Yeti's fault, but the art is kind of a jumbled mess, IMHO.
I can't disagree with this more strongly. I am blown away by the art and think its incredible. This game would not be nearly so compelling without his touch. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - mine is that ZY's work here is right up my alley! I'd be thrilled beyond belief if a pinball with his artwork makes it to production one day.
