How was the deposit money taken? Was it personally received by Jpop, or taken by a corporation hiding behind a LLC?
With that amount of money taken, and no significant assets....the chance of jpop throwing hands in the air a declaring bankruptcy is a real issue.
Uhhhh...after reading Jack's comment..... I'm not sure I'd be comfortable having him hold any of my cash. He's basically saying that you are all a bunch of over-privileged dandies, and screw you if I fail. The fucking balls on that guy, after what Pinside did for him and JJP.

It would be interesting if the violations could be directly applied to Jpop as an individual, instead of targeting the company. I think it's pretty clear that Jpop intends to fold the company and dissolve any personal responsibilities. The scammer should be personally ruined by his neglect and outright dishonesty.

Well...no it's not "just" an opinion. He's holding money in the same manner that Jpop did. If you can't see the issue in how that's more than a simple expression of opinion, you're not standing on level ground.
