Quoted from jlm33:Have many Aussies been robbed by Jpop?
Don't think any

RickThorn has a podcast already that reads like an advertisement for Houdini. Wonder if 'Rickthorn' is doing it for the attention or is actually getting paid for it.
A new low
Quoted from rommy:I would never have one of these in my collection - unless I was an original buyer. Same with Predator. And any JPop machine ever again. He ruined part of pinball for several people. Turned a hobby into ... litigation.
Glass half empty point of view.
If it wasn't John it would have been someone else. Skit-B situation is SO much worse.
Thanks to John we have Zombie Yeti working for Stern.
Thanks to John people will never put crazy cash down for start up pinball companies again (well people still will, but you know what I mean - It's totally their fault if they do it now)
Thanks to John we have a new pinball manufacturer in 2017 in American Pinball.
That's the glass half full point of view
So why doesn't magic girl have new we code?
Is this Johns way of 'clearing his mind' over not paying applejuice?
Just don't use his latest code?
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Grainy playfield art was a surprise.
Pretty objective review from he who shall not be named......
Weird that the code is locked? Seems like code is the very basic one of a few years ago.
Many features not working. Big middle mech not working at all. Wow.
Having to put side decals on !! Only put 1 player on.
Needs a lot of work but potential is there.
Not only 1 player but also only 2 ball game?
Also void 'warranty' if not in a HUO environment.
Quoted from benheck:Here's the story I pieced together:
Late 2015: John hooks up with AP and promises them Houdini if they'll fulfill MG. They agree (after doing no research on Zidware and John not disclosing Bill has the rights) and John gives them a beautiful diorama of acrylic. Like the Emperor's new clothes they're satisfied until...
Houdini is shown in September. The community starts analyzing the hell out of it and it's quickly determined that it's not a game.
Realizing (only now) they've bought a pig in a poke, AP hires Balcer in time for Expo to shore things up. Even by expo all the lighting bolts are gone, Zidware name scrubbed and new art sample shows LCD being moved.
AP fulfills MG mostly out of embarrassment, and takes John's dream theme Houdini from him out of spite. They continue on, but without John.
That's my take on things. So while I think John will probably get bailed out yet again, it won't be from AP.
Who is that silly to do that? Surely not
