This whole Poopadookie fiasco is really disappointing.

However, on a brighter note, I am getting 12000+ posts worth of entertainment value for myself and fellow Pinsiders from my RAZA deposit. So, I guess it's not a complete loss.

I really hope Bill and his crew can pull a rabbit out of the hat since I have a deposit down on RAZA.

Whether he does or doesn't though, my best option, given the following considerations, is to just lick my wounds and wait to see how things unfold.

1) I'm not putting another penny into this venture until I see games rolling off the assembly line (if I think the game is worth it). That rules out losing more money on more vaporware.

2) Considering how long John has been working on these projects, I believe he has burned through all the pre-order deposits. So, I don't feel like throwing good money after bad to lawyers, with the end result being I'm standing in line with a bunch of others to try and collect something that isn't there.

The whole interview struck me as kind of sad. John trying to hold onto some dignity by deluding himself with the hope that somehow he will make it right and the games will get made, as the walls are crashing in around him.

Does it really make much of a difference? Sort of like saying the guy who buys 5 lottery tickets has a better chance of winning than the guy who only buys 1.

It didn't make sense to me that he would spend so much time tweaking the artwork without having the basic layout locked down. However, hope springs eternal and by then my deposit for RAZA was already committed.

I no longer see any scenario in which a good pinball machine would have been produced with John as the sole designer and in control of the company.

A cautionary tale, hindsight is 20/20, lots of red flags, etc...

I'll be more careful where I put my money next time.

That site really has a JPOP 'feel' about it.

As they say in the Game of Thrones, "words are wind."

Maybe because no one is likely to know the back-story in Vegas so better chance of getting new 'investors'?

And that's when I woke up.

And people wonder why some of us aren't so willing to give AP the benefit of the doubt after they chose JPOP to be the master designer in their operation.

That about sums it up.

I'm surprised and glad to see JPOP produce anything for the Magic Girl buyers, I really never thought it would happen.

There may not be many shots and aspects of the game will probably never be functional as intended but the Zombiyeti artwork is fantastic.

For the buyers, I think something is better than nothing.

But it is a rare work of art.

Wow! I got bupkis for my large deposit.

Actually, now that I think about it, I did get a cancelled check.

Hadn't thought about that!

Should frame the check and hang it on the wall as a reminder not to throw money away in the future.

Edit: Then again, maybe I should just bury it and pretend this never happened.

John, is that you?

After watching John bumble around trying to make his own game, I think you hit the nail on the head here.

Trouble is John acted like he was an expert at everything.

Some hope is better than no hope but they're not getting a penny more from me unless they have a game worth buying and ready to ship.

Oh man, are people bringing tomatoes to the seminar?
