Ha, I love that. That's how I've always dealt with any of my own personal projects that don't have a deadline. I don't know how you actually do that WITH a deadline.

CSI isn't that bad of a game.... it's certainly better than Street Fighter 2.

What the hell is your point here? We compare games released today to games released by Bally/Williams *all the time*. Are you trying to say all Gottliebs are so terrible that they can't stand up to comparison against any Stern, because I'd like to argue that..

Can't disagree...Stargate was one of the most solid games I've ever owned...but again, even considered a "top" Gottlieb of the era, it's still a turd of a game compared to almost any 'B' Bally/Williams DMD. I'll totally stand up for some of their other stuff, but man... their DMD era games just were not at all competitive in the fun department, even if they did a bunch of unique and interesting things for the time.

*Edit* Oh, except the opto push-nut clips for the ramps and wireforms. THOSE THINGS ARE TOTAL BULLSH... and I hope I never see another one ever again! >=|

I suppose you're entitled to not respect your own work if you choose. I feel that way about things I draw by hand all the time. But how you feel about things doesn't (and shouldn't) change my opinion of it. SF2 was a game I avoided as a kid, even when I preferred pinball over arcades, and 90% of my time on said arcades was spent playing Street Fighter Alpha 2. That's how awful that game is to me. /shrug

I've never played competitively, so it doesn't really matter, but....I usually pick the wierdos in most fighting games. Rose, Dan, Guy, Sakura.
