I have a lead on a JP Data East in what is most likely a players condition machine. I haven't seen the game in person yet (nor have I ever played one) but I wanted to get an idea of the price range that these go for. Can anyone offer any tips on what to look out for when inspecting?

Thanks in advance.

Yup was thinking about checking it out tomorrow. It's right on my way to work.

Edit: Unless McHugh beats me to it. Which he probably will.

Make sure the T-rex head works and moves side to side. Look for how much wear around the kickout holes. See if it has a topper. They can go for $200 on ebay.

Good luck, April always prices pins very high. I learned not to chase pins at her sales. Only advice I can give you is get there early to get a low number. There most likely will be several local collectors going. One sale she ran last year there where three pins including a TZ. It got ugly, people were fighting over who was there first. When they finally got in and saw the prices they where pretty disappointed. Hope it works out for you. Kevin did score a really nice CC at an estate sale. A lot of people missed it because it was advertised pin ball.

$1800ish.

Or, if you ask Jared, $3200.....

I just paid 2000.00. Very nice condition, some wear by the scoops, LEDs with a mint topper.

and a new MPU

I just had a nice one up for sale for $2200, fully working with topper. Clean cab, good playfield with usual scoop wear and decent plastics. Let it go for a little less to a friend. I could have gotten my price I think, I had interest. So if you want it and it's in decent shape I wouldn't be afraid to go that high. Past that though you're entering "not gonna get your money back on this one" territory, so keep that in mind.

But you are in Cali where prices are high.

True. Though I feel like that's not as true as it used to be, when the price madness of the last couple years happened it seemed to kind of even things out more.

anyone get this ?

Someone bought it for $600. Beat up though. Heavy wear on the scoops no key. Couldn't turn it on to check. Cab ok. Head has some abuse. No pterodactyles.

Bought a really nice stern galaxy back glass for $10.

in the condition described, it was about right on the price. No keys could be dangerous. Boards could be looking like a chia pet. stuff missing on the playfield and non working. $500-600 is about right.

Paid $2700 for mine. Wont look back. Its clean as crap and has a sealed manual inside of it because it was a HUO machine. Love it.
