Looking for opinions. If both are of equal condition and price (actually I would have to pay 200 more for JP) which would you say is the better game?

T2 has a great video mode and design, but JP has a T-Rex eating the ball and a great playfield. It's a tough choice for me too, but I'd have to go with JP only because I want it more than T2.

I like T2 tons more than JP. JP has the neater toy, but I didn't enjoy the gameplay nearly enough.

I may be in the minority here but I think JP is a bit funner to play than T2. T2 is a pretty limited game and I could see it getting old quickly in a limited collection.

T2 for sure.....Steve Ritchie vs. Borg/Kaminkow......Williams vs. DE

JP is fun but T2 is the better theme & has some nice flow.

Both good games but I prefer JP.

I own JP, and I fixed a T2 but only got to put about 25-30 games on it. I would have liked to put in more time with T2, but based on the time I had with it, I'd go with JP.

T2 is pretty simple. I think the modes, T-Rex, and other play elements make JP a bit deeper and overall more fun. Plus the shaker motor in JP is nice. I also didn't find the cannon on T2 to be particularly appealing. The shot you have to make with it is pretty easy. Batman Forever makes better use of a canon shot.

However, if you like a more open playfield and more of a fan layout, T2 is the better choice. And T2's artwork is nicer in my opinion. But still, JP for me.

JP > T2

T2 is all flow. Fun to play, but a yawner to own. It is just too simple to hold your attention for long. Also it is difficult to sell as most people seemed to have owned T2 at some point already.

JP is less flowy, but has more depth to it.

I've owned both machines. T2 has more flash, better sound effects, more polish, faster. JP is deeper, with lots more to do, shaker, better theme song, better voice tracks. I'm glad to have had a chance to own both, but I miss JP more. I believe it more staying power.

System failure multiball is unforgettable. JP all the way.

Perfectly stated. JP's the better home game and it's not even close.

I am not a big fan of name dropping. How about getting a machine thats fun to play. For me, I like em both, but JP wins overall with theme, toys and fun factor. Perhaps you could decide which movie license you enjoy more. Watch some videos of both, or try em both out again. If you also had a history with playing one on route when they were new, that could be some motivation too.

That was my experience!

I love both but JP has more to do.

JP is definitely more fun to play.
