Hi all.
I am having issues with my JP. It keeps blowing my F7 Fuse (.5A). I would replace the fuse, the game would continue working. Now I replace the fuse, game no longer works and the fuse gets INCREDIBLY hot?
I will attach pics of the guilty fuse, the game at start up, and the fuse chart. If anyone has any ideas as to what I am looking for, please let me know.
Thanks a million!

Any ideas?
When I turn the game on, GI lighting comes on...but that is it. Nothing else happens. Advice is welcome!

Try disconnect the ribbon cable from DMD and the wire that gives power to it and +5V power wire to DMD controller board(if this machine have this board).Power on the game.If the game boot and work power of and begin to put again first ribbon cabelePower on,if work, turn of and put next one +5V wire to the controller board.Power on.If it work again then turn of and put and the power cable to the DMD.Power on and see what will happen.
I think you get the idea.

Thank you for your reply!! I will try this out once at get back to work (my machine is there). I sincerely appreciate the response!

Please post a picture of the whole power supply. You started off with a high voltage problem, which is why the F7 is blowing a fuse. So it seems your high voltage needs to be rebuilt.

Now, it also seems you may have a separate problem with your C2 leaking on your power supply so your 5volts. and I would have to bet the electrolyte ate up the trace under it. A good sign is if the board around the C2 looks wet, then this is what happened. Would be best to replace all the capacitors on the power supply. Also, disconnect CN1 and inspect it for any burnt pins.

If you upgrade to a ColorDMD, you would not need to worry about fixing the High Voltage section, though, you definitely would want to change all the capacitors, for the reason like C2 leaking.

If you go the route of just replacing the power supply with an aftermarket board, I suggest the Xpin power supply.
