I am upgrading the mini-playfield on a Jokerz. Since I don't want to mess up the decal, I thought I would ask here first. The decal has a plastic film on it, do I leave the film to protect the artwork or peal it off. Below are some pictures. My fear is that the artwork maybe printed on the the clear masking. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I am curious... does the decal adhere to the top or bottom of the playfield?

#3 2 years ago

It does not. It is held in place by the hardware

Gotcha. Thanks.

Please post how it went.

I have a replacement upper playfield and decal that I haven't installed yet and would be very interested to hear of any tips and traps (good or bad) that you encounter!

Dear Pinheads

currently I am facing the same task: replacing defective Jokerz' original miniplayfield by a.m. parts (clear playfield and decal).

Is there anybody out there who did this job already and is able/willing to share information about the result?

Thanx and have a great day @everybody!
