3. 2 ball multiball but it will still give the “pinball missing” if you only put two in.

Thank you, that's what I thought, but when I put in three balls it kicks two out at the start of a game
Quoted from Jc-trout:Hello everyone. I have a Jokerz and it is a fun game to play. My friends and I love it. I'm hoping someone might be able to send me a photo of the "Carousel Wheel Adjustment Label." I don't think my carousel wheel is adjusted right. When you hit the draw poker and it gives you a "Full House", for example, the spinning wheel doesn't match up with the right cards. I'm assuming that it should. Any photo or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, JC.
New to the club! Did you ever figure this issue out? When I go to the wheel adjustment and try to match my wheel up with what the display says as soon as the wheel spins again it doesnt match up anymore.
Suggestions?
Some work went into my Jokerz this last week. Right side GI not working fixed. Left drop bank not working fixed. LED upgrade done. Upper playfield swap done. I have a couple bulbs on the upper playfield to figure out why they arent working. My Translight is super faded, and the LED's highlighted that more even when using frosted LED's. I may switch the Orange flashers on the playfield to Red and Blue. The Orange looks out of place with the upper playfield flashers being Red and Blue, and the playfield not being smoke yellow/orange.

Dosa anyone have or make plastic Sling protectors for Jokerz and like pins that have the slings that go out over the play field. Just wonder if it’s worth protecting them from an air ball. Or maybe this machine doesn’t get many air balls.

I make several protector sets for pins. I posted on pinside asking if there would be any interest in Jokerz protectors. I got zero responses.

Well I’m a buyer.
I think that size sling is something they used in other system 11 machines.
Did you make a protector for the RollerGames drop target bank?

I haven't made any protectors for Rollergames.
I would need at least a dozen people for Jokerz protectors in order to make it happen....I highly doubt that will be the case. It just takes WAY too much time/effort to make a set or 2.
Quoted from freddy:Joined about a month ago. Really enjoying this game. Just simply a fun game .

Looks awesome next to that taxi.
I am in the process of restoring a JOKERZ! and the only parts that I really can't find are replacement ramps. Mine are usable, but do have cracks some missing chunks. Does anyone by chance have spare ramps they'd be willing to sell? Send me a PM if you do!
Just finished restoring my Jokerz and the info in my blog might be helpful if you are doing the same!
I've created these custom apron cards for Jokerz! (borrowed design for title card), and am making them available for $10 per set, including US postage. I print these on a photo printer using OEM ink (no cheap third party) and OEM ultra gloss photo paper. I then cover in 3 mil clear gloss laminate, and razor cut to size.
Please PM me if interested.
Jokerz1 (resized).jpgJokerz2 (resized).jpgLooks great. I have just purchased a Jokerz and would like to find some newer ramps any suggestions.

Good luck, they are unobtainium at the moment unless you find someone parting a machine out -- and even then it's not likely they are mint. Post in the Freeplay40 Ramps thread and mention that you'd buy ones if they remake them, I've been pushing for Jokerz! for a while now.

great job it reminds me 2 or 3 years ago doing the same.
but it worth it
Just got a Jokerz! about a month ago. Backbox is in a little rough shape but overall I'd put the cabinet at about 7/10. Playfield is better at about 8.5/10, with a couple of small wear spots at the top of the playfield. Been slowly working through all of the small janky repairs that have been done to this game but it plays great. It was a little tired when I got it, but new rubbers, new coil sleeves and some TLC really made it come alive. I did a custom LED retrofit built using bulbs from cometpinball.com and it's really starting to come together.
I'll get some pics up soon after the next round of repairs.
For those that have LED'd this game, can I get your opinion(s)? Is this a white or warm white game? In other words, does it lend itself well to bright cool white bulbs the way something like World Cup Soccer '94 does? Or does it lend itself better to warm white the way that Lord of the Rings does? Seems like with the gambling theme it might be good with cool white but wanted to get some input before I order a bunch of bulbs.
Inserts will be color matched but all other bulbs will be switched to some type of white.

I did mine with warm white GI, and cool white under the white inserts, warm white in the back box

Warm white!

I used the ones "in the middle" called Sunlight White for the GI. They're about 4000K or so and pretty much right in the middle of the warm/cool scale. I think they're a very good fit for the game. I used cool white for anything that was a clear insert, warm white for yellow, pink for anything amber/orange (recommended by CP, and it looks fantastic) and color matched for the blue or red.

Perfect. Thank you. I just needed to double check and make sure I got something right.

Seeing lots of white space around the bonus score, between the slings, where it usually reads "Table Bonus".
I have a gameplay question. For some reason at the start of every game the 10K table bonus light is lit and the #1 and #2 bells are both lit on the Jester's hat. Doea anyone know why? The game scoring and play appears completely normal other than these 2 items. Maybe a game software adjustment or something?? Thanks for your help!

The 10K being lit at the beginning of each ball is normal. The two bells: I’m going to guess you have Lite Special set to three bells in the settings.

Thank you and I think you're right. When the lite special setting is set to 3 bells, the game starts you off with 2 bells lit...I presume if I set it to 4 bells only 1 will be lit...and so on.
And it's good to know the 10K table bonus being lit is normal although I still dont really understand why?
Thanks again!

Probably for when you drain from the plunger STDM you don't feel like a complete loser.

Probably right...but I still feel like a loser when that happens so maybe I can set it to 50k instead!!!

Yep.
Also the bonus multiplier inserts.
Picked one up a little over a year ago as a "I'm sorry you got cancer present" for the wife (only 35yo). She used to play it when her dad would take her and her brother up to a cabin in Minnesota. There was a Jokerz! by the washing machines, and they would play it heavily when washing clothes. I remembered her mention this and people were asking how they could help her out, so I got the idea of picking one up and people donating to the cause. I missed picking up a better shape and cheaper one while she was in the hospital due to complications, but it all worked out and I eventually acquired one. It's not in the best of shape, but everything mostly works (the wiring isn't always providing a connection on the right drop down targets so they don't always register when they get hit or pop back up). Last weekend, got around to replacing all the rubbers, that took way longer than I thought it would, and I am trying to adjust to the new game play. I haven't waxed the pf, yet. NEED to do that, along with getting new balls and fix a couple of broken plastic posts.
Was the pf clear coated from the factory? If so, were the decals cleared over? The decals on the bet table and bells are missing pieces and it doesn't seem like there is clear over them. I really want to restore it to from the factory due to the sentimental value, but at the same time, just want to play it. Might pick up another one to restore.
The other cool thing, at least I think it is, is that this pin is a Germany special. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing.
Quoted from idreamidrive:but everything mostly works (the wiring isn't always providing a connection on the right drop down targets so they don't always register when they get hit or pop back up).
Check the solder joints on the 4-pin connector on the opto board. Mine was doing the same thing on that bank and I found that the solder joints were cracked. My suspicion is that the when ops use the prop rod to hold the playfield up it pulls on the wires that go to the connector and over the course of 30 years they get mangled. I reflowed the joints on mine and haven't had that issue since. I also don't use the prop rod anymore because I think over time it will warp the playfield, so I just service the underside of the table in the fully vertical position.
Also, mine came with a mylar overlay (that I have since removed for replacement). When I pulled it off, some of the black outlines came off from my bonus indicators in the center, so I'm inclined to say that there is no clear over the decals. I've been searching for decals online and there are sets out there, but very little information about what *kind* of decals they are (are they adhesive? water slide?) so I haven't pulled the trigger on a set.
This actually isn't too hard of a game to work on. My buddy Morinack has one too as seen by his post above and this is actually my first game. I've learned a lot about troubleshooting since getting it and so far there isn't anything that he or I haven't been able to fix with a little noodling around.
Picked up a Jokerz! last week. Cab is a little rough, but the playfield was ok(not great, but ok). I took a couple of pics. It was lacking a power board, so I'm waiting for that now.
One terrible thing did happen. This thing didn't have a latch on the back or head bolts. When I lifted it to put bolts in, the lamp board swung out and caused it to tip. I caught it, but the edge of the board broke the center ramp.
Anyway, I'm looking at some repair options, but if someone has a ramp for sale, it would be much appreciated.
So the Jokerz I just brought home has no flashers when the bridge goes up/down or during the attract music!
The domes are there, but all the wiring is gone??
Any chance you fellow owners could shoot a cpl pics of the wiring and where it leads too? Maybe what I'm looking for?
I try to track down a manual also, but pics go a long way!
Thanks!

I can get some pics of mine. Do you need pics of all five flashers, or just the ones next to the center ramp?
