I have a bunch of different style cash boxes that I am sorting now for the shows in the spring!

Are you selling them now?

I can if you know the exact height of the handle you need as they do differ depending on the Gottlieb era game. The Bally are easy.

I’ll have to find out which one that is for Gottlieb. The game I have just has an empty space…I was hoping someone would have one as a reference.

I'm following this as I've been looking for one as well. At the last Allentown Pinfest a dealer was selling coinboxes and I asked if he had one for a Gottlieb System 1, Joker Poker specifically. He said he did and sold me what appears to be for a Gottlieb EM. It doesn't fit in my JP and I stupidly tried putting it in with the power on and shorted against something on the coin door. Fortunately only blew a fuse. Cool light show though. So if someone does have measurements (or a source), I'd be interested as well.

Did you check the section in Pinwiki that discusses coin box/cash box dimensions?

Yes (https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php/Coinbox/Cashbox_Identification_Guide#System_1_.26_80), but it doesn't have the handle measurements which I think are what makes the difference from the previous EM boxes.

If you can wait several days, I'll measure mine and put them on this thread. (I'm pretty sure my machine has the original coin box)

All I need is the dimension from the inside cabinet bottom up to the base of the coin door opening as that will dictate how low the handle must be on the cash box to clear on door closure.

Let me know if you need anything more.
