I have a Joker Poker and a Fire Queen. Both work perfectly, but there’s a small issue in the Joker Poker that bugs me.
The chimes on both work great, but the sound on the Fire Queen just plain sounds better. The design of the cabinet and head make the chimes sound like they are in the head. Perhaps because of this, they have a cleaner, crisper sound. On the Joker Poker, the sound comes through the right side, immediately adjacent to the chime box. It’s louder, but just not as “lyrical”.
On the inside of the Joker Poker head, above the board and on the top inside is a metal plate that blocks the holes in the top. Anyone know the function of that metal plate? Can it be removed to see if the sound quality improves?
Thanks in advance!
