Hey guys! New to the club and can't wait to get this home and play. Just at a mates place as I'm outta room...haha.

Wanted to ask if anyone has a spare spinner please.

NOTE: The spinner from Pinball Centre isn't correctly weighted and sits upside down! The arms are on wrong!! DO NOT BUY!

Little rules help please.

Am I right in saying that Crazy Bob's lights locks for the first 3 locks for the first m/ball!

When you get m/ball and drain to then light locks again.....for your second m/ball is it the same rules?

I was hitting Bob's and it wasn't lighting the locks this time? Do I need to complete a mode first? What have I missed please.

Quoted from Lithium:

After the first matrix multiball, you need to hit the crazy bob shot, then start a mode (other than NAS) (or drain), and then hit the hidden drop target to light a lock.

Hidden drop target? Is that the one up the middle? That starts a mode.

Ok...seems I have got how to lock balls on the second Matrix M/Ball, the next question is about the Throwing Spikes.

I get that the inlane lights this shot and then the corresponding 2 shots award it.

Wondering how you light it once you've been round the whole circle?!?

The inlane didn't seem to automatically light like it did the first time? Help?!?

Quoted from Luppin:

I noticed when the glove move over the matrix and there is already a
ball locked, the ball being carried by the glove slightly touch the other ball already in the matrix.
This does not interfere with the free movement and control of the glove, but I wonder if this is ok, or maybe I should adjust something to avoid this contact between the two balls...

Every game I’ve played does this, mine included. I wouldn’t worry. As long as the glove is acting as it should, leave it.

Quoted from Comox-Rocks:

So how much for new side art?

The actual art came with the game when I bought it so I'm not really sure.

killerrobots if memory serves me correctly it isn't weighted correctly and as such is not right. It does need to sit vertically correct.

I had this problem and a mate helped me find the correct one. I'll have to as him again and check what he did.

EDIT: check the arms from original to replacement. I think you'll see that they are supposed to sit straight where as the replacement, as shown in the photo, is at an angle.....if that makes sense?!?

Quoted from killerrobots:

Thanks for the advice. I have played with it for a while and it does kind of work but it doesn't spin very well. I have two so I was tempted to try and bend one square but it is not obvious how it should work. I am a little scared because I broke my previous one trying to bend it back. If you have a better supplier I would love to hear it. I can't find one in the US.

Don't bend it, it will break. I'll try and find out what I did for mine and get back you.

Couple quick questions....my flasher or GI lamp that's attached to the left hand ramp isn't working. Found out why but wondering if someone can post a photo of how the wires look going down under the ramp please. I have each wire spilt around the hex pole as opposed to being on one side. Feel like its maybe not right?

Also my hand isn't moving back far enough to grab the balls now. Last time I went in setting and did a hand test and that fixed it. not this time.

What do I need to look for in the hand test for results and is there anything else to do to get it aligned propery?

Quoted from sunnRAT:

Does this photo help?
Also, I would take a closer look at the threaded shafts of the hand mech for any dirt build up or obstructions. When was the last time it was serviced? I think it might be worth removing the hand mount from the back of the playfield and cleaning the entire mechanism including the gears to ensure best performance.

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping for a topside photo if you can be so kind.

Quoted from madamyates:

Getting an error that the F5 switch is malfunctioning but the hand and magnet both work. The switch doesn’t register in test but at this point, I really have no idea on its purpose. Any thoughts?

Isn't this switch the one that recognises the ball in the hand? And found inside the magnet.

Remove the glove and check connections as well as position.

Quoted from Gorgar666:

OK, my glove when placing balls in the TicTacToe grid. Runs too low and rubs ball to ball. Lol, and if it’s slightly magnetized which it is. It picks up the ball and pulls them off the grid. Is there anyway to adjust the glove higher.

No, this is normal behaviour. Mine slightly touches as well. Change your balls to avoid this.
