Quoted from Glarrownage:Hey Guys, quick question. I've had JM for a while and I just noticed that other people can change the skill shot lights with the flippers. Mine have never moved and they seem to light up at random when the roll-overs are activated. I have some flashers out and the mode lights don't seem consistent either. Do you know what might cause this? It's been this way for as long as I've had the table. I'm guessing its a board issue but I'm open to suggestions. Thank in advance!
Not looking at the underside of mine right now, but any chance the lane lights are on a circuit board?
Reason that I ask is that when I obtained my restored MM, I had a similar issue. The lane lights would change when I hit the flipper buttons, however, they didn't follow what I was triggering. Also, when the ball rolled over the switch in right lane, the left lane light lit (and vice--versa); center was always center though...
Turns out the person that restored and reassembled the game but the 3-light PCB in reversed (180 degress). The holes lines up and they never must have thought twice about it. Once I reversed the board position, the skill shot lights followed the corresponding flipper triggers.
Look for a pattern -- and perhaps you'll find something is reversed.
