Just joined the JM club today...
Anyone can tell me what's the difference between 1.2 and 1.2R roms?

@Luppin, also check the wiring behind the glove.
Wires can get pinched when you are pulling the playfield in and out, so be careful with that.
Had some similar weird issues with JP and the problems were only in "physical" nature. Pinched wire, bad solders on the X-axis switch and skewed one of two optos on X-axis. So check that first if you are having weird issues with the glove.

Anyone knows how to edit the ROM to disable that Video mode which always pops up as the first "award" in Crazy Bob if you have disabled hand?
I have an EEPROM burner and checksum generator, would just like to know if anyone played with JM ROM to that degree or point me in the right direction.

Tell us more.
Is the switch when you turn the spinner with your hand working in Switch test?
Have you tried to press the switch on the side of the spinner with your hand?

Where can I find the hand switch https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/SW-1A-199 in Europe?

Ok, here's a question for true JM fans...

What do you need to do to reset the Throwing Spikes modes once you complete it.

The problem is that Lite Throwing Spikes light/switch doesn't turn on to "wake" the spike once you do all 6 modes.
Funny thing is that sometime it does turn on in the next ball, but mostly not and we haven't been able to figure out what is triggering it??!

Anyone with that knowledge?

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:

I think you have to complete power down to reset the throwing spikes but I’m not positive.

No, it's not that. I get it sometimes when I start the next ball but I can't figure out what I did.
I can tell you what else doesn't help... shooting crazy bob, starting a mode, multiplying bonus or having multiplied bonus in the previous ball
.. or collecting extra ball which is the last mode in spikes.

Quoted from majicman110:

I thought it reset at the start of the next ball. Also not positive

Nope. It doesn't. Just sometimes, but it has to be from something else.
I really wish anyone knows this.

Quoted from luckymoey:

All the big points are Spinner Millions/Bonus Hold, Yukaza Strike and Powerdown.

Yes. The really big points are just spinner millions + bonus + hold bonus (if not the last ball!)
Especially with the bug in hold bonus counting the bonus TWICE! Did you noticed that btw?
You can get to 20 bil with 10-20 spinner shots and then get the hold bonus.

Finally we have the answer to this question and we can die in peace
Just today it crossed my mind it could be the start of Yakuza mode. We pulled the glass down and runs some hand tests and it was 100% success rate.
So here it is.. when you complete all 6 throwing spikes modes it locks it and you don't get it reset on the next ball either.
If you start Yakuza mode AFTER you complete all throwing spikes modes, it will ALWAYS restart throwi ng spikes on the next ball. Ready to bach that spinner again )
