I was looking at my JM manual and notice that it calls for 4 flashers in the backbox. My machine has none, I think it could use some because the back box light show is boring. I was wondering if any one has a proto type JM that has them installed and could post a pic of there locations.

wondering if these flashers are in some machines then?

Just prototypes.

Quoted from zacaj:

My problem is I don't know what the switches *should* be doing

They are limit switches. There are also opto switches to. When the x,y rods spin they turn a plastic wheel with cutouts for the opto switches to sense where the hand is. Since your hand stops right away I would think you are having troubles with the optos.

No batteries no midnight madness.

And of course, it's at any time of day.

It's not at midnight because there is no date/time without batteries, hence no Midnight Madness.

Quoted from RhinoPins:

Everything is installed correctly according to the schematics and the bushing looks original.

Which side of the flipper mounting plate did you mount the bushing to? Post a pic of the flippers from under the playfield.

Quoted from RhinoPins:

Hard to see, but here is a pic.

The bushing is on the correct side of the bracket so that isn't the issue. It could be an incorrect bushing.
