Is it common for the glove magnet to blow a driver board transistor? Mine blew the transistor while on route this week and considering buying a new magnet if anyone has had this happen and the new magnet remedied it

Quoted from Gnatty:Question with the Spinner. Does everyone’s spinner register at every spin when spinning at top speed? When mine is spun fast, it registers every two spins or so, I verified this in switch test. I took it out, cleaned and adjusted the arm in different way, to no avail. Maybe the spinning revolution is so fast at initial hit, the micro switch can’t register them all, just curious????
Should work on every hit
Are you measuring with your hand or with a ball from flipper?
What would cause this issue on Johnny?
I've never seen this happen on another pin before. If right flipper is up and a ball launches it loses power for a very short time. I'm guessing it has to do with flipper hold but no idea.
Quoted from Stebel:Does it only happen with the right flipper on and not the left?
Looks to me like the interruptor for the flipper button opto is super sensitive and right on the edge and when the launch happens it causes just enough vibration to cause it to flicker.
Swap flipper opto boards and see if it corrects the problem.
Good call! Checking now
Quoted from Gorgar666:Any key fob available for JM?

That’s a nice looking Johnny
Quoted from Comox-Rocks:Well I’ll be joining this club on Monday when I head to the Southern interior to pick it up. Game is in great shape and owned by a pro pin restorer. I’m so fricking stoked I can hardly sleep! Wife shakes her head….lol

I wouldn’t be able to sleep either! Have fun w the game. SNARF!
Quoted from xsploit:I had sometime today to investigate further and fuse F104 was blown.
The game/glove appears to be operating fine after a brief game but I still have the Check Switch F5 Ball in Hand error.

Check service bulletin 87 and make sure your game is set up correctly
Quoted from GraniteStatePin:Is it worth updating the game rom from 1.1 to 1.2?
One of the changes I read was "Made the matrix award relative position more random" ...but I don't really know what that means.
Curious as well
What is the best version to run?
Quoted from rdrapeau3171:TicTacSeth,
That is what I was thinking...that it is unused. Very odd though to have something like that with nine wires coming into it that would be unused. Maybe for some type of printer diagnostics?
Also, is there a way to test the flipper opto boards?
That connector does nothing
Check your EOS switches on the Eddy board and on the flipper coil itself
How weak is weak? Can you make the ramps?
