On the JM hand....how does it know where the X and Y travel limits are?
I see a microswitch that could act as the 'stop' when the hand is all the way home (Left). But there is no switch that limits the travel at the far end (right). On the Y, I don't see any switch for home or end of travel.
My guess is the opto switches are used and the number of turns are counted.... but I could be wrong.
