Quoted from Rolpa:

Title says it all. Both the coil and associated switch work in diagnostics - it will repeatedly kick a ball up into the glove in the coil test - but if I shoot the center shot during gameplay, the ball becomes stuck in the kickout, and the the kicker doesn't fire once the ball search starts. What gives? Any other JM owners ever have this issue?

May be an issue with the switch in the eject hole. The switch isn’t used in testing the eject coil. Have you tried to activate the switch with a ball in switch test?
