I just did my first decal job and I thought it was a fun experience. I stripped the old one, put wood putty in all blemishes and sanded to a fine smooth finish. Once I had a perfect surface, I painted it black and applied the new decal.

My No Fear is next.

A guy at the Chicago pinball show, he didn't say who he was and I didn't ask.

Looks great, love the blue.

Thanks! I really like the way powder changes the look of my game. With the new decal, Johnny is now mint with a great playfield.

Nice decals. But that blue is more of a personal thing. Original all the way.

I respect that, you will really hate my No Fear when it's done

Quoted from Aladdin:

Did you send off the bar and legs to get powder coated? Also, can you detail how you plugged up the front holes while installing the front decal? Looks great!

Thanks.

Yes, the legs, rails, coin door frame and lock down bar powder was done by Matt at Back Alley Creations. Matt does amazing work and I highly recommend him. Matt did the powder on my No Fear I'm working on now.

As for the front decal, I did not plug the holes when I applied it. Once the decal was on and tight, I trimmed the holes with razor blade knife. This was my first decal job and I'm happy with the results.
