90 day warrantees should be 90 days plus whatever length of time it takes for something to break on my machine and not have to pay for it #entitledwhiteguy
Quoted from pinmister:My problem is I do not put a lot of games on my machines, it could take me 6 months before a problem arises. You can call me entitled but when I spend $5000+ on a pinball machine and I have purchased tons of NIB machines, and I have always received at least a year support if not longer despite technical written warranty. My point is American Pinball needs to step up and take care of all issues for at least a year. Being a new company, it blows my mind that they are not bending over backwards and taking care of issues for at least a year. You want to establish yourself as a service oriented company if you want my business.
Yeah, that would be great for you. You get your fix out of warranty. Then, maybe you come on Pinside and tell how everyone at American are stand up guys and have tremendous support and loyalty to their customers. A few other guys have things that break... maybe a year or two out of warranty. But hey, pinmister got his part replaced... so they should too, right? Of course! A precedent has been set! Then, American pinball gets it’s invoice from suppliers and they are a little short that month. That’s ok, just sell some more games. Whoops, someone dropped a screwdriver on their playfield... let’s send them a new game. Uh oh, can’t keep the lights on at American Pinball anymore. Anyone want some free stuff before they lock up?
Quoted from benheck:They need to fix the staggeringly awful female character before Expo if possible.
It's beyond bad, no amount of "bad photo" or "grain" caused that to happen.
It’s a feature. She gets more attractive the more you drink.

Quoted from frankmac:How’s TNA?
Me? Best. Game. Ever. So happy with it.
Only bummer is I can’t afford a Monster Bash now.
Quoted from frankmac:Yes, Great pin. Did you add that powered sub?
Not yet. It’s coming!
Quoted from EalaDubhSidhe:I could have sworn that was Python's art from Cyclone; I had to look it up to check. The only things that appeared to be absent were Ronnie and Nancy.
Comet, but yeah. Point is that there’s always been some pretty bad (and maybe a little racist) artwork in pinball.
Part of the fun of owning an Okfoberfest might be point out all the weirdness to friends who come over to play.
Quoted from bobukcat:Or we could use this thread that has "Oktoberfest" in it's name to discuss it.
Sure, I guess. Pretty much every game released in the past 5 years has had a production chatter thread and one for actual owners that don’t want to deal. But whatever.
