This looks real promising!

But, have they change the voice of ...Otto? The callouter. I seem to recall in early code he had a real spoofy german english accent. I miss that! Now it seems very ordinary. I remember especially when he pronounced pale ale it was hilarious.

Quoted from Psw757:

not sure if it’s the lack of a German accent in the callouts

Good its not only me thinking this

Quoted from vireland:

Random dude's head with generic oktoberfest hat is cheaper than molding an exact 3D version of the dude from the backglass. Also there may be engineering considerations that would require design changes to accommodate the wider lower face of the backglass version. And figuring all that out takes time, which costs money. There's definitely costs involved in getting the face changed. I'd like to see it too, but if we're spending money, I'd rather see better animation and art direction on the big screen.

How much could todd tuckeys face cost?

You could invite Buffalo pinball or DeadFlip for a streaming session in the factory?

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

Can’t say I’ve ever completely removed any reference to a podcast/artist/personality as fast as I did when that crap went down. Way to get swept up by the groupthink and expose oneself as a child

This i was not aware of, and sounds unprofessional and disappointing.

There is a middleground between that and dead flip's "yes man" attitude with stern.

Quoted from benheck:

5) TODD TUCKEY'S WRIST IS STILL BROKEN. Does anyone in the pinball art world know how arms work?[quoted image]

I would not say its THAT broken, he just has a very alternative way of holdning a beer. If it manages to reach the throat, I think it suffices.

Prost das de gogel net verost.

Quoted from Ferret:

BTW, regarding Juggling... I actually AM aware of one potential exploit. I'm not discussing it because I want to see if it becomes a viable strategy... if so, I'll nix the repeatable Juggling. But it seems too painful to really take advantage of...

We need to get Cayle on it, apparently

I am creepily (lurkingly?) following this thread from norway, as i am really considering buying oktoberfest

Thats because of the interesting impression the playfield gives me; a mix of dialed in, circus voltaire, rollercoaster tycoon, and more, and also because its a theme about drinking beer and having fun

Now i am waiting to hopefully get to try it, and also hoping that the animations and some visual lcd stuff will be slightly improved, but it is no deal breaker. Mainly i just need to play it and feel it.

Btw; funny that people argue bk3k is a unlicensed theme, when stern has licensed it from pps (ergo; b/w?)
