American Pinball's Oktoberfest pin was the coolest pin I had seen or played in a long time. I love the unlicensed theme, high quality build and fun playing it. I bought a new one in 10-2019. I thought the bumper car molds for the pop bumpers were very clever and nice looking. The bumper cars needed riders in them though to me. I hired a very talented artist to custom make and paint Oktoberfest themed rubber duck riders for the bumper cars. The quality of the duck figures the artist created was beyond what I was hoping for. The ducks riding in the bumper cars look like how the pin should have looked from the factory in a perfect world of unlimited budget and talent. I had to make a bracket to move the right blue bumper car forward about half of an inch so the duck did not hit the wire form right above it. The trick worked perfectly. I can not tell that the bumper car was moved a bit.

Quoted from Charger68:

Those look amazing. Would that artist be interested in making more

This was my first post on the Pinside forum. I am still learning how to navigate this website and learn it's posting rules. Yes, the artist is selling the Oktoberfest ducks for other owners of the pin that want them. The duck riders mod needs the right blue bumper bracket, which I would have to make. I will figure the best way to give the contact information on buying the ducks and the one mounting bracket needed in the next few weeks.

I had no idea that the rotating figure on my Oktoberfest playfield was supposed to be Otto. I bought an unpainted Otto head figure from American Pinball and had it painted to much better match the Otto graphics shown in the back glass and video displays. The very talented artist I hired, who created the Oktoberfest themed rubber duck riders for the bumper cars, did an incredible job of painting the Otto figure so it looks like the Otto in the back glass and video displays artwork. Super detailing of the facial hair now painted gray, black orange, and yellow bands on the hat and the shirt painted in plaid colors now were all included on the custom paint work done by the artist. I will post a side by side of the original Otto and the custom painted one once the figure is sent back to me.
