Yeah. I followed the directions right on. Drive was formatted to FAT32. File size was correct.
Plugged in drive, got green message, removed drive and turned off game. Turned game back on and turned on custom message in settings. Not showing up on screen

I would like to announce that I have been working with cliffy for about 8 months now and happy to say that there is now a set of cliffy protectors for Oktoberfest. There are also two slot protectors in the kit. It is not on the website yet but just email him it is available as of tonight when we finalized the final fit.

can you guys/owners give your statistics about losing balls by outlanes, as for me the right seems to be eating them... in fact its higher but not so much !? (well, it remain +/- when 1 ball goes out to the left 1.5 goes out to the right)

than, to Joe/Josh, not a bug, but may be a small setting here :

- i've launched the ball while aiming the bar skillshot
- didnt touch anything, not a switch, as i check/was at 0 pt
- i let the ball roll on my flipper into the drain, to get it back on the shooterlane
- but instead of having a new ball serve (as on others pins), i get the BALL SAVE with an automatic launch

of course, you may have programmed this on purpose !?

I haven't been happy with the coil stop fix since I have had it. Before the ball always made it up the ramp and made it in the barrel. The new Coil Stop is never consistent. If I lower the flipper power its not enough to get it up the ramp. If I bring it up 1 click its too hard sometimes and flies off the ramp or makes it in just fine. About %50 of the time it flies off the rail onto the plastic or even behind Otto. There is no winning.
Also if i take the ball out from getting stuck I put it on the rails to go in the barrel like it should have done and gives me time to put the glass on. This messes everything up for some reason? It can't find the ball and then when it gives me one it thinks its a ball short. I have to shut the game off. It should register the ball if I set it to go in the barrel. from what I can tell new plastics would have to be mounted for the coil stop to work.

That's a shame if he isn't. Nicest guy. And at the shows tries to take time for everyone. Like the rest of the American Pinball team, he enjoys what he does and it shows.

I'm still on top of it, SR-6379. It's an individual part within a power supply. We needed to order this from our supplier, and expect it to arrive this week. As soon as it does, i'll have a tracking number for the shipment to you.

For the future, please contact me directly on my API email for status updates. It can be difficult to cross reference a pinside name with your actual name and Service Request number.

There must be some missed communications. I havent seen any issues drag on with API, they will make you whole soon!!!

I'm Not trying to bag on API.
Part of this was my issue, part was the distributor issue, and I haven't heard anything from API for a week (maybe due to holiday week).

I am 100% sure this situation is the exception and NOT the rule. It just sucks (for me), that I am the exception. I know it will be made right. Just getting harder and harder to look at my game up on blocks.

I still have faith in API. Just super frustrated right now.

Some might still be trying to work from home.

I am sorry about that. No matter how hard a company tries. Once in awhile things don't go well. And AP tries to get things resolved quickly.

I'm sure they are frustrated now too. Because a customer isn't enjoying their game. I'm sure they'll do their best to get you going.

Next time email directly to API service like he suggested. (I would do it now if you haven’t already). Sounds like that will get immediate help for you.

My personal experience was a pm sent through Pinside went unnoticed for several days.

But, a service ticket was taken care of immediately.

Yeah I think they just have a specific process and if it’s not followed things fall through the cracks it seems.

I sent a service ticket on June 5.

I believe they were shut down then.

Open another one. PM Vegas9 or brenna98 here on Pinside.

Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I had my highest Oktoberfest game yet at 162 million points. I happened to be streaming it as well. Thought maybe I'd share the video here in case anyone wants to take a look at my strategies with the steins and modes, etc.

I ended up getting every single extra ball (I believe), which obviously helped a lot. Therefore the game ended up being just about an hour long.

Unfortunately the audio is a little bit choppy due to a setting being off while I was streaming.

Currently that driver does nothing and is inactive in code.
