My friend owns a JM but is not a member here. He says he turned the machine on and it gave him ball in glove F5 switch error. Is this a easy fix or does he need to call a repair guy?

*edit*

My bad. I though it was ball in hand. Do what LTG says.

F5 sounds like an opto on the flipper button opto board.

Clean them. Then Tests - Switch Edge - pass something between the optos to see if they work, two each side.
