I am currently trying to get my JM back to original as possible. I am missing the decal for my spinner. While working to fix this I noticed that my spinner is square yet the decal is round. Am I supposed to has a round spinner? I have read some people would change the spinner to make it not spin as easy. Is this what's been done, or was someone just lazy, replacing it with whatever they had? Does it even matter as long as the decal fits?

Original was round I believe, the machine I had was replaced with a square one too. Personally didn't make a difference to me, I just left the square one on as it worked fine..

Original was round. There's a thread on pinside somewhere about alternates for the spinner. The spinner assembly from Junkyard can be substituted, I believe (also had a round spinner). Classic arcade had the decals on ebay up until very recently - they'll probably show up there again.

My spinner broke a couple of weeks ago and when I got it out, I noticed that it had been glued back together before once already. It seems like there's a weak spot on the right side where the wire goes in. I just re-epoxied mine and its OK, but maybe that's why a lot of these were swapped out.

This is the thread. Also has a link to the spinner part (in the UK) http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/johnny-mnemonic-spinner-assembly-needed

Thanks guys. I am finding that its not an easy task getting this pin back to original. All the pictures I look at contradict each other.
