I just turned up my JM and then 20 minutes later when I go to turn it down, none of the menu/volume buttons work, what happened!?!?! Please help me
So after doing a little more investigating, I see that the wiring to the buttons has one (volume up) that was pinched and cut through the insulation a bit. When I touch that wire to the coin door it turned the volume up. The other buttons still aren't working and now the game is stuck with the volume all the way up, ugh.
I cut the volume down wire and touched both sides to the coin door and that would bring the volume down. Still can't get the buttons to work though
You probably have a bunch of wires cut/pinched.
Or your ground / common wire from the switches on the coindoor.
Check them all coming off the control switches.
If there is one common ground that is broken they will all not work.
Its also possible that a diode at the switch (if it has them) was shorted when the wire got pinched.
This could also cause them not to work.
